MP Marjana Koçeku, known as Neomalësorja, appears to have joined the civic protest, a day after announcing her departure from the Socialist Party. She has posted a flamingo icon on her social media.
The flamingo has become the symbol of protests that began against the tourist project in the Zvërnec protected area, but which later turned into a broader civic movement against the government.
The publication of the icon by Neomalësorja has been interpreted as an expression of support for the protesters.
