Tirana as the Mediterranean Capital of Culture for 2025, starts cooperation with Turin

Tirana will officially start cooperation with Turin at the start of 2025 where the Albanian capital will be the "Mediterranean Capital of Culture".
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, paid a visit to Turin yesterday afternoon, where he also met with his counterpart, Stefano Lo Russo. The two mayors also discussed a close cooperation between them during 2025.
Turin is one of the cities with the most experience as an organizer of large cultural events and will lend a helping hand to Tirana, which is expected to bring over 1000 different cultural activities in 2025.
