The results of laboratory tests following the poisoning of 64 students at the Security Academy in Tirana have been released. Media reports indicate that food and environmental samples analyzed by the Food Safety and Veterinary Institute (ISUV) have been found to be free of bacterial contamination, including E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria.

Meanwhile, the investigations continue. Sources close to the investigative group say that the results of the verifications carried out by the Economic Crime and the National Food Authority (AKU) are also awaited, to determine whether the company that supplied the food had any violations or irregularities.

The event occurred on June 25, when dozens of Police Academy cadets showed symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea and fever, being transported for treatment to the infectious disease service of the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center.
