Nobody teaches life

Nobody teaches life

On Mental Health Day, I was thinking about what were the things I wish I had known when I was younger, when life in a few moments becomes a noose in my throat, sometimes as anxiety, sometimes as uncertainty, sometimes as vulnerable.

My generation comes from a culture of discipline, of No and not Yes for everything, like today. We come from violence (not necessarily physical) as communication in schools, where we were afraid of teachers, where we were afraid of parents, where we grew every joy inside with fear. It would have been nice if it was different, but even today, the culture of Po seems so painful to me, although on the other side. Freedom and comfort are so paralyzing for man. And the secret seems to be in a balance in between, found only by man himself, during the journey of life.

No one learns the art of living well with oneself and others. A parent, a psychologist, a friend, a teacher helps you, but man is his own captain.

Our life experience helps us.

From my experience, the solutions are in our daily choices. Especially with the people we choose to hang out with, eat with, sleep with, talk with.

Saying Yes or No at the right moment is a miracle, but sometimes you get confused and you have to believe that nothing is the end of the world. There is always a new day. We should all believe this. Every time I've believed it, my life has gotten better. When I ignored it, it got complicated.

I wish we all know that none of us is as normal as we think we are. But this is the beauty of our life, because normality does not exist, it is a myth.

We are all searching for balance every day. All in search of 'Joie de vivre'.

Hugs to you all
