After three months as the most followed and liked person in Albania, Moza Ahmeti is facing her first test of fame outside of a reality show.

The poet, known for her controversial style, won the hearts of the audience during the spectacle and ultimately the grand prize. But the return to reality has brought another kind of pressure: numerous requests on social media to join the flamingo protest.

Ahmeti responded to her followers that she will not participate, saying that she is tired after being on the farm and that, when she protested herself in the 2000s, no one supported her.

However, this argument has not convinced many commentators. The reason is simple: the majority of today's protesters are Gen Z. Many of them were not yet born or were children in the 2000s, so they cannot be held responsible for the lack of support that Ahmeti says he experienced then.

This stance has brought a wave of disappointment online, with many of those who supported her during the reality show criticizing her for choosing not to join the protest.
