The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, addressed supporters in Pristina shortly before midnight, considering the election result as another success for the political force he leads.
In his speech, Kurti stated that this is LVV's fifth victory in the parliamentary elections over the last seven years, recalling the results of 2019, 2021, the two electoral processes of 2025, and this year's elections.
He appreciated the support of citizens and said that the achieved result is proof of the trust that, according to him, citizens continue to place in the Vetëvendosje Movement and its government.
Kurti emphasized that the party will continue to govern responsibly and in a democratic spirit, underlining the importance of combining state security with the well-being of citizens.
"We combine the security of the state and borders with the well-being of citizens. There is no difficulty that we have not overcome, because now there is a state for all, and we are all for the state," he declared, repeating the party's slogan.
Kurti further said that citizens see in Vetëvendosje a guarantee of good governance and added that the force he leads is ready to continue its work, unlike the opposition parties. He also called for the 11th legislature to start as soon as possible and announced the holding of meetings and consultations with all political entities in the coming days.
