In the midst of the dynamic change of the construction industry, embracing pro-environmental practices in the technical designs of buildings has been a great challenge because in Albania, as in many other countries of the Balkans, design standards are lacking. But the BREEAM certification for the Park Avenue tower heralds an important step.
BREEAM is a globally recognized certification that assesses the environmental performance of buildings. Experts from Colliers - a leading professional services and investment management company, which operates in 66 countries worldwide - awarded Park Avenue BREEAM Design Stage certification with an Excellent rating.
Located in the new urban center of Tirana, Park Avenue is an elite project dedicated to business. Designed to exceed standards, Park Avenue was assessed by Colliers for various aspects of sustainability, including energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, use of sustainable materials and indoor environmental quality.
