Unlike the US, France and Belgium support Netanyahu's arrest

France and Belgium have expressed their support for the International Criminal Court (ICC) after its prosecutor Karim Khan sought arrest warrants on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jewish State Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and for three Hamas leaders, Yehya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif and Ismail Haniyeh.

Paris supports the International Criminal Court, its independence and the fight against impunity in all situations," the French Foreign Ministry said.

At the same time, Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib wrote on Platform X that "the crimes committed in Gaza must be prosecuted at the highest levels, regardless of who is responsible."
