Alain Aspect, John Clauser and Anton Zeilinger win the Nobel Prize in Physics
Alain Aspect, John F. Clauser and Anton Zeilinger have won the Nobel Prize in Physics for their achievements in quantum mechanics. Their work 'has laid the foundations for a new era of quantum technology', the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said.
Yesterday, the Nobel Prize for medicine was awarded to Svante Paabo, for discovering the secrets of Neanderthal DNA.
On Wednesday it will continue with the Nobel Prize for chemistry and on Thursday for literature. The 2022 Nobel Peace Prize will be announced on Friday and the economics prize on October 10.
