Madonna has revealed the secret of her success as a mother in raising children. They have their freedom, but 5 rules are non-negotiable.
'1. Smile, 2. Be happy, 3. Listen to others, 4. Speak kindly, 5. Be happy with what you have."
Madonna is mother to twins Estere and Stella, 10, daughter Mercy James, 17, son David, 17, daughter Lourdes, 26, and son Rocco, 22.
Madonna has always said that being a mother has been the most difficult task for her in life and that she is still learning every day how to parent.
"Today I'm still struggling to figure out how to be a mother and do my job," says Madonna.
"Whoever you are, having children and raising them is a work of art. Nobody gives you a manual. You have to learn from mistakes. It is a profession that takes a lot of time. And it's exhausting because there's never a break," she adds.
