Fans of the Turkish football club Besiktas filled the field where the match against Antalyaspor was being played with thousands of toys as a sign of solidarity for the children who were affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey. Vodafone Park was packed with 40,000 fans, many of whom responded to the club's request to bring toys to the stadium. The match was postponed from November last year due to a terrorist attack on the historic "Istiklal" street in Istanbul.

The game was halted at 4:17 a.m. to commemorate the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey's southern region three weeks ago. Fans threw thousands of stuffed toys onto the pitch as a gesture of support for children affected by the disaster.

Before kick-off, fans also paid tribute to the more than 50,000 victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Several players broke down in tears during the ceremony.
