FIFA initiates disciplinary proceedings against Argentina
FIFA has launched disciplinary proceedings against Argentina's Football Federation for player misconduct and violations of fair play at the World Cup final.

In the World Cup final, Argentina beat France on penalties at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.

About three hours later, the players led by captain Lionel Messi ran and chanted through the area dedicated to official interviews and damaged the flimsy partition walls and did not stop to communicate with the international media.

FIFA has not announced a timetable for Argentina's disciplinary case.

Meanwhile, regarding other cases, FIFA fined the national teams of Serbia, Mexico and Ecuador due to the behavior of the fans at the World Championship.

Serbia was fined 50,000 Swiss francs for chanting by fans in the match with Switzerland, where some Swiss players were insulted on a national basis, alluding to their Albanian origins.

FIFA fined Mexico 100,000 Swiss francs for anti-gay chants, while Ecuador was fined 20,000 for insulting Chile.
