A 2016 video (which we're not releasing) is clear evidence that rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs beat and dragged his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
The video was released by CNN and corroborates Ventura's assault charge filed last November.
The footage dates back to March 5, 2016 and was captured on security cameras at the InterContinental Hotel.
Combs, with a towel around his waist, runs down the hall behind Ventura. He grabs her by the neck and slams her to the floor.
Ventura's attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, said: “The shocking video further confirmed Combs' disturbing behavior. "Words cannot express the courage the lady showed to reveal this."
The rapper faces serious charges of sex trafficking, rape and domestic violence.
