Justin Baldoni sued Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and their media representative on Thursday, January 16, alleging defamation by publicly claiming that he mistreated Lively on the set of "It Ends With Us."

His lawsuit is the latest chapter in a legal battle that began to unfold on December 21, when the New York Times published a bombshell op-ed detailing Lively's allegations against her co-star in the film, Baldoni.

Her lawsuit is based on the California Department of Civil Rights – which creates the conditions for a possible lawsuit against colleagues.

Baldoni also claimed that his PR team was working on filing a countersuit, for defamation. A bit like the story of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. She sued him for $2 million for abuse, while he won $15 million in damages against Amber Heard for defamation.

Could it be the same case?
