BAFTA announces the nominations, they are divided between a few films

The nominations for the 2023 Bafta TV Awards have been announced, with This Is Going to Hurt and The Responder receiving six nominations each.

Meanwhile, Bad Sisters, The Crown, The English and Slow Horses have received five nominations, while Daisy May Cooper's Am I Being Unreasonable? and the "Big Boys" have four each.

Top Boy also received four nominations with Jasmine Jobson and Saffron Hocking the latter nominated for supporting actress.

Ben Whishaw and Martin Freeman are nominated for leading actor, along with Peaky Blinders' Cillian Murphy, while Billie Piper and Imelda Staunton are among the leading actress contenders for I Hate Suzie Too and The Crown respectively.

Comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan have been confirmed to host the star-studded ceremony on May 14, which will be available to watch on BBC One and iPlayer at 7pm.
