The Greek Foreign Ministry reacts again to the Appeal decision that left Fredi

The Greek Foreign Ministry has reacted again to the Appeal decision that left Fredi Beleri in prison today.

"This decision does not appear to be in accordance with the provisions of the rule of law, while it does not constitute a fair treatment of an elected representative of the local government", says the Greek Ministry in a statement.

According to her, the detention raises questions and the fact that it "raises essential obstacles for Fredi Beleri to assume his duties as Mayor".

This issue, as announced by the Greek Foreign Ministry, was discussed again today between the head of the Greek diplomacy Vasilis Kaskarelis and the Albanian counterpart Olta Xhaçka, in Oslo, where they participated in the meeting of the foreign ministers of the NATO member countries.
