6 members of the Assembly are expected to hand over their mandate next week as they will compete in the May 14 elections.
Who are the deputies aiming for the post of mayor?
The two socialist MPs who leave their mandate to participate in the local race are Benet Beci who will run in Shkodër and the newly elected deputy of Elbasan District, Besjan Ajazi, who will compete for the Municipality of Gramsh.
As for the Democratic Party, the first to leave the mandate in the group headed by Sali Berisha is Belind Këlliçi, who has chosen to face Erion Veliaj in Tirana on May 14.
Likewise, deputy Zef Hila will leave the mandate of the deputy to compete for the Municipality of Vau i Deja, while Luciano Boçi has stated that he will run for the Municipality of Elbasan
In the other DP camp, the one headed by Enkelejd Alibeaj, is the MP Ramadan Lika who is said to be competing in Malësi e Madhe, but this remains to be confirmed.
