Prime Minister Rama starts his official visit to London today
Prime Minister Edi Rama travels today to London, where he will stay for 3 days on an official visit. He will be met by his British counterpart Rishi Sunak, whom he is meeting for the first time.
The two heads of government had earlier a telephone conversation on the issue of illegal Albanian immigrants, as well as exchanged responses to the statements of British ministers who called Albanians criminals.
Now Rama and Sunak will meet to talk about the British policies of returning illegal immigrants and the implementation of a bilateral agreement for their repatriation.
The common fight in the fight against organized crime will be part of the talks, while the strengthening of economic relations and foreign policy is also expected to be discussed.
