Vase of flowers stolen from Dame Vivienne Westwood's grave, police are called into action

Police are investigating the theft of a decorative flower vase that was stolen from the grave of fashion icon, designer Dame Vivienne Westwood.
She was born in the village of Tintwistle, Derbyshire and wanted to rest there. A florist at the request of her family was assigned to take care of the grave and it was he who reported the theft.
The police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses.
Her funeral ceremony in December was attended by hundreds of thousands of people.
She was later laid to rest in a private cemetery in the Derbyshire countryside.
Saleswoman Anja Norris - who runs a nearby business - was chosen to design the flower vases at the grave.
"It's so disrespectful, I hope they bring it back," Norris told the BBC.
She said the incident happened in May and is appealing for help from anyone who may have seen something.
"Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between midnight on May 21 and midday on May 28 is asked to contact the police," she said.
