A speech by Ursula von der Leyen at the European Defense and Security Summit was interrupted yesterday without a good start.
A man from the hall accused her of being a criminal for supporting Israel.
"Mrs. von der Leyen, you are under citizen's arrest. You are accused of aiding the genocide in Gaza. You have expressed total support for Israel since the beginning of this genocide. The blood of Palestinian children is on your hands. You are a criminal Mrs. von der Leyen. You should be in The Hague and not here. You are a criminal. Freedom for Palestine," he said.
But von der Leyen did not react. With a slight smile on her face she continued her speech without any comment on the attack.
