Counting of votes in Turkey ends, Erdogan is re-elected for a third term as president
Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been re-elected president of Turkey for a third term. Erdogan managed to secure 51.4% of the votes against his rival Kemal Kilicdaroglu who managed to get 48.6% of the votes. He will lead the country for the next 5 years
The participation in these elections was 84.93%, a slight decrease compared to the participation in the May 14 elections.
