'I'm not ready to kill'. Russian rapper ends his life to avoid

A Russian rapper has reportedly ended his life after telling fans: "I'm not ready to kill."

Ivan Vitalievich Petunin, 27, who went by the stage name Valkie, said he could not take the sin of murder upon himself. This message came after being called up to fight in Putin's war in Ukraine.

Putin is trying to draw 300,000 additional soldiers to the front line.

But many Russian men have desperately sought ways to avoid being sent to Ukraine.

On Friday, Petunin's body was found near a high-rise building in the Russian city of Krasnodar.

He also left a last music video scheduled, in which he wrote: "If you're watching this video, then I'm no longer alive."
