NASA warns that an asteroid will come close to Earth on Saturday

A newly discovered asteroid more than 200 meters across will pass between Earth and the Moon this week in an event NASA says happens only once a decade.
The asteroid, 2023 DZ2, was discovered in February by astronomers at the La Palma Observatory in the Canary Islands, Spain. Since then, astronomers have continued to observe the asteroid to get a better idea of ??its size and orbit.
Although the asteroid will pass safely by our planet, there is a small chance of an impact within a few years, scientists say.
