The Eiffel Tower opens after 6 days of strike

The Eiffel Tower in Paris, one of the most important monuments in the French capital reopened to its visitors this Sunday after a 6-day closure, which came as a result of the strike of its staff.

The workers of the Eiffel tower started their strike under the pretense that the tower was not properly maintained and that there was no proper financial management of this historical monument.

The operators of the Eiffel Tower announced the reopening of the tower after reaching a deal with unions this Saturday in which it was agreed that there would be an investment of 380 million euros until 2031 in maintenance and renovation of the tower.
