Vice President of the USA, Kamala Harris will officially be the candidate of the Democrats in the presidential elections of November. Harris has received the vote of confidence of the delegates and will run against Donald Trump.

Harris officially received the necessary number of votes from the delegates to become the Democratic Party's nominee for president and the first black woman to run for office.

The Democratic National Committee reported that in online voting, Harris garnered more than half of the delegates' votes.

Shortly after the vote, Harris said she felt "honored" for the election.
