Former Prime Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond, who led the country from 2007 to 2014.
passed away in North Macedonia, while participating in a forum on culture and diplomacy in Ohrid.
69-year-old Salmond was having lunch with some of his friends in Ohrid, when one of them asked him for help to open a bottle of ketchup.
According to witnesses, while trying to open the bottle, Salmond leaned against the chair and passed away.
A post-mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was a heart attack, as the former prime minister had earlier complained of pain in his right leg.
