An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale hit Turkey this Wednesday morning.
The tremors were recorded around 11:09 local time, in the Alanya and Antalya area.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the sea in front of the city of Antalya with a focal depth of 30 km below the surface.
Based on preliminary data, the earthquake did not cause significant material damage or human injuries.
