Biden gives final decorations, honors 19 public figures

At the White House yesterday, President Biden honored 19 public figures from various fields.
From Hillary Clinton's political legacy, to Ralph Lauren's influence in design, Lionel Messi's global impact in soccer, Bono's humanitarian efforts, and George Soros' philanthropic contributions, this selection reflects a commitment to honoring excellence and significant social impact.
Among them were Denzel Washington, Magic Johnson, Bono, Anna Wintour.
They received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
"I say this honestly, all of you are the signifiers who have left an incredible mark on us and our country," President Biden said as he addressed the honorees.
The Medal of Freedom, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a citizen, is awarded to people who have made exemplary contributions to the welfare, values, or security of the United States, to world peace, or to other significant social, public, or private pursuits.
