Euro captures the lowest level of this year

The euro started the week with a strong fall against the lek. According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, one euro was exchanged for 100.7 lek this Monday.

This is the lowest level since July 2023.

The dollar has also suffered a decline, becoming below 94.58 ALL.

The Bank of Albania says that these fluctuations in the exchange rate are due to tourism and foreign investments.
