Diaspora Vote/ Around 9 thousand emigrants registered in the first three days,

The official launch of Albanian emigrant registrations on January 11th has been awaited with great interest.

In the first three days, 8,727 immigrants were registered. According to reports, almost 73% are men. 62% belong to the age group 25-45 years.

Voters must apply themselves, as the system requires a live facial image, which is compared to the photo on the identification document.

Any Albanian identification document is accepted by the diaspora, even if it has expired, but most importantly, a document proving residence at the address where the ballot is to be sent is required.
