'Superman Challenge', AMA Warns Parents of Teens About Dangerous Tiktok Trend

The Audiovisual Media Authority warns against getting involved in a dangerous challenge that has spread on TikTok recently.
The challenge, from which, in Romania, dozens of teenagers ended up in hospital with serious fractures, is called the "Superman Challenge" and consists of throwing one hand forward, just like the children's character, Superman, to be caught by friends.
"Parents and teenagers! Dozens of teenagers in Romania have suffered fractures and severe trauma after a trend on TikTok called the "Superman Challenge". The challenge is to lunge forward with an outstretched arm, like the children's character Superman, to be caught, or not, by friends. From the dangerous "game" in one day, more than 20 teenagers ended up in the hospital with serious trauma. Parents, be careful! Explain to your children the danger hidden behind such online trends!", writes Krasniqi.
"Children and teenagers. Do not fall prey to such challenges. Apart from risking health and, often, life, there is NOTHING fun about them", said the Chairman of the Audiovisual Media Authority, Armela Krasniqi, in a press release.
