The southeast of the country was hit by snowfall on Sunday. The heaviest snowfall was in the mountainous areas, where the thickness reached 5-10 cm.
In the early hours of this morning, there were difficulties in traffic in the villages of mountainous areas, while all axes connecting urban areas with administrative units are passable without problems.
National roads, including Qafë Thanë – Kapshticë – Zemblak – Gorice – Korçë – Leskovik, are passable without problems.
The roads to the tourist villages of Dardha and Voskopoja are also passable, but road traffic authorities advise drivers to equip their vehicles with winter tires.
No power outages are reported, except for occasional outages in remote areas.
Temperatures in the Southeast are -4 degrees Celsius.
