Intense snowfall in Qafë Thanë, road only passable with snow chains

Thana Pass is impossible to cross without chains.


Even though the snowplows are working, the wind-driven snow causes the road to quickly fill up again.


Police have been positioned at several points to prevent vehicles from climbing without chains.
