Pope Francis has sharply criticized Donald Trump and Kamala Harris as he described the choice American voters must make as the choice of the lesser evil. He considered former President Donald Trump's anti-immigrant policies and Vice President Kamala Harris' support for abortion rights as both anti-life.
"The citizen must choose the lesser of two evils. Who is the lesser of two evils? That lady or that gentleman? I don't know," said Pope Francis during a press conference.
"Deporting immigrants is something terrible. To remove a child from the mother's womb is an assassination, because it has life. We must speak clearly about these things," he said.
