From the forbidden coffee at the counter, to conversations with Albanian women. The regulation for the Italians who will work in the camp comes out
A month away from the opening of camps for immigrants in Gjadër and Shengjin, Italy is preparing.
According to an article in "La Repubblica", information has been published on the way these camps operate, along with the instructions for the Italian personnel who will work in the camp.
"The Albanian population is very hospitable, but some useful precautions should be taken into account," the manual reads.
Among other things, employees are warned not to drink coffee at the counter, as this is not a tradition in Albania.
Some of the ethical rules they must follow:
- Albanians do not like to be underestimated in the sense that you should never present them with a superior approach;
- They are a modest people, therefore nudity or exposure of clothing in public is not welcome;
-Avoid socializing with Albanian women. It is a more conservative society, especially in the north of the country. A man who sees his wife with another man may react badly;
-Albania is a very safe country, there is neither theft, nor robbery, nor sexual harassment;
- There is no religious fanaticism in Albania. Despite being a Muslim majority country (over 50% of the population), there is religious coexistence.
