The North Macedonian prime minister, Zoran Zaev has responded to the invitation of the Russian Permanent Representative to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, for Albania and North Macedonia to joint the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). This invitation came a week after the European Council decision to postpone accession talks with the two countries.
” We have neither received the call nor we are considering anything of the sort. There’s no such invitation and I hope we do not receive one”, said Zaev for reporters.
Albanian prime minister, Edi Rama has yet to respond, but on Tuesday, the socialist party submitted to the assembly a draft resolution to adopt a law and mechanisms to protect the country against Russian influence, misinformation, and Russian funding of political parties. Tiranapost.al
