After the political opposition refuses to enter the parliament, the government has started to collaborate with the parliamentary opposition, to move forward with the reforms. Most of which had a positive answer regarding the proposal of the new deputies for the Election Reform.

The majority of the parliament approved the request made by Ralf Gjoni, SMI’s appointed lawmaker. Last Thursday he articulated that wanted to be part of the Parliamentary Commission for the Election Reform and also be part of the discussions for the changes in the election system.

In the signed document, there is a request for the head of the Assembly: the commission can cover all the clauses for the election system in Albania.

The head of the Socialist parliamentary, Taulant Balla, asks for an extension regarding the deadline for the Election Reform Commission. He requests for the date to be postponed from 5 May to 28 November 2019. Also, he asks that the commission should cover the clauses of the election system of Albania.
