The Municipality of Tirana has begun the reconstruction of the old school of Ndroq, while part of the project is to increase the number of classrooms, so children will no longer have to go to Tirana to attend school.
“Today there is good news for the 270 students of the 9-year-old school, the old school of Ndroq, which has probably not been reconstructed since the time of their grandparents. We are rehabilitating the roof, existing classrooms, stairs, heating system, hygienic joints, bathrooms, new showers being renovated, and more. The school is increased by 1/3 of its space, so that no child, will be forced to go to Tirana or other schools ”, said Veliaj. For the first time the school will also have a pre-school. Veliaj added that the new school will also serve as a community center after graduation. The investment foresees that apart from a general reconstruction, the school will also have an additional space, with two classrooms per floor, a technical area for the new boiler, water supply system and fire protection system. Playgrounds will be built not only for physical education but also for leisure. Tiranapost.al.
