The majority of Albanians are against the opposition’s strategy to protest in the streets. This is the result of a survey done by Report TV in cooperation with the Italian institute GPF Inspiring Research Institute.
The survey showed that 43 percent of interviewees are against protests and 17.2 percent of them believe that the opposition’s strategy is no longer efficient. Only 29.6 percent of participants in the poll support the opposition and 5.6 percent of them demand a violent escalation of the protests.
Data shows that 38 percent of participants believe that the new MPs from the ranks of Democratic Party and Socialist Movement for Integration are legitimate in their parliamentary representation.36.2 percent of the participants believe they are no legitimate representatives.
In terms of the general situation, 21.2 percent of participants deem it as positive and 51.1 percent as negative. During the first poll that was conducted one month ago, 55.3 percent of participants said that the situation is negative.
In addition, 44 percent of Albanians support the proposal of Prime Minister Rama to carry out the electoral reform in cooperation with the opposition.
