Prime Minister Rama is seen alongside US Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Palmer, who a few days ago issued a strong statement in regard to the protests and the opposition, stating that anyone who attempts to hinder the election process will be banned from entering the US:
You can not win the election if one does not participate, and using a boycott to hinder local elections of an entire country does not help build stronger democratic institutions. We have warned the opposition leaders not to hinder the electoral process, which as I noted, might be a cause for not qualifying to enter the US.
On the side, is President Ilir Meta, who is seen in a conversation with former Kosovo President, Atifete Jahjaga.
There has not yet been a meeting between the prime minister and the president, there will be a focus of the cameras if they do. However, 20 years ago, a compromise of the West decided to liberate Kosovo, and that was the time when history was made. Today we find it difficult to rule and do not understand each other. We do not have war, but Albania is sooner getting ready for one, rather than politicians working in favor of the Albanians.
