Socialist MPs, shortly before the start of the session in parliament, likely to start at 12:00 and continue with a 5 hours of debate, have been instructed with a memo distributed to the SP group. The memo contains the justification for Meta’s decree, in regard to the cancellation of the election date.
According to the document published by Ora News, it is said that the act of the President for the abrogation of the 30 June decree is absolutely invalid since it has been issued by the public body outside its powers and in flagrant violation of the Constitution and the law, (Article 108 et seq. of the Code of Administrative Procedure) and as such is considered a null act and can not produce any consequences .According to the Socialists, this decision is also an assassination of the country’s constitution as it contradicts a number of constitutional provisions as explained in section 3 below.
The SP estimates that the president’s unprecedented act of abolishing the 30 June election decree, comes in key moments for the country’s European future and at a time when the country is continuing with important reforms such as Justice Reform.Memo below. / Tiranapost.al. D.Xh
